Soon, you’ll receive an email from me with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s essential to respond to your survey as quickly as possible since I need this information to fulfill your rewards.

Activating Your Backer Survey
When you receive the survey invite email (image below), please click the survey link to respond.
Answering Your Questions
You'll be asked a few questions about your rewards, please answer as best you can.
You'll then need to confirm your pledge level and any add-ons you purchased during the campaign. If you see anything missing or incorrect, please contact support at

Purchasing Additional Add-ons (Other V2S Games Products Also Available!)
You'll be able to purchase additional add-ons, if you wish. Some of these may not be available after fulfillment.
Other V2S Games products are also available for purchase. You can find these using the drop-down filters at the top or by scrolling to the bottom of the add-ons.
🌏Printed (physical) copies are only available for shipping to Australian addresses at this time.
Confirming Your Address
Please provide your shipping information so that I can send you your rewards. You can update this any time up until addresses are locked—you'll get a reminder to confirm before shipping!

Shipping & taxes will be charged at a later date. Shipping will be entered & charged a month or two before fulfillment once better estimates of shipping costs are available. You'll receive an update once shipping is finalized & before your card is charged in your BackerKit survey. I will keep you informed at every step along the way!
Placing Your Order

Reviewing Your Completed Survey
If you need to review your information after your survey has been completed, you can return to it by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at

Didn't Receive Your Email?
Roughly 5% of backers will receive their invites today and tomorrow. If all goes well, the rest of the invites will follow within a few days. Thank you in advance for your patience!
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your crowdfunding account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address associated with your Facebook account.
If you Signed in with Apple ID, your email address might be a private relay email address. You can learn more about your email hiding for your Apple ID

if you haven't received your invite from the pledge manager by Friday, June 28th—please
contact support and select "I can't find my survey" to let us know (please see below).

👑Backer Survey Date Confirmed! Final Re-Charge 💳 More Late Pledges!

I hope you had a great week!
Backer Surveys & Pledge Manager
It's confirmed—I'll be launching the Pledge Manager and begin sending Backer Surveys next week! Roughly 5% of backers will receive an email inviting them to visit the pledge manager on or before June 23rd as part of the initial 'Smoke Test'. If all goes well, the rest of the invites will follow within a few days.
If you haven't used BackerKit before, don't worry. The process is very straightforward and I'll send another update immediately prior to the Smoke Test with additional information to help guide you through.
You will use the pledge manager to:
- Confirm or upgrade your pledge,
- Answer a few questions associated with it,
- Provide your shipping address for physical rewards, and
- Select and pay for any additional add-ons.
Shipping & taxes will be not be charged until closer to fulfillment.
You will have a few weeks to complete the survey and lock in your pledge, and you'll have advanced warning of the deadline in a future update. However, it would be very helpful if you complete this process as soon as possible. You'll also have an opportunity to update your address should you need to change it closer to shipping.
Payment Processing
Most backers have been charged but there are still a handful of payments that haven't been processed.
If BackerKit still hasn't been able to process your pledge,
please make sure you confirm your account & update your credit card details today if you haven't already. BackerKit will try to collect the remaining pledges tomorrow one last time, before transferring any unpaid pledges to the Pledge Manager with $0 credit.
If you are still running into trouble, please be sure to
contact the BackerKit Support team and they’ll help you finalize your payment.
Some more good news, pledges are still coming in! Any backers who pledge after the surveys have been sent will receive their survey immediately. Payment for late pledges will be handled by the Pledge Manager, so this should work well! Please don't hesitate to share the link with your friends and socials while late pledges are still open.

Your support is inspiring and I'm so excited to get these quality boxed sets into your hands as soon as possible! Already things are moving forward for The King's Poisoner.
Great news! I've been working hard behind the scenes with BackerKit to setup the Pledge Manager so that anyone who missed the campaign can still pledge until June 30.
The King's Poisoner is the first crowdfunding campaign for V2S Games so reach is limited and many people didn't discover it until close to the end, or are just finding it now. Enabling late pledges not only gives those people a chance to participate, it can even help us achieve additional stretch goals!

Payment Processing
You should have received an email from BackerKit confirming that your pledge has been collected. If so, you're all set!
If BackerKit hasn't been able to process your pledge, don't panic. You still have time to try to work things out. If your payment fails/declines, you should be notified by email and can re-enter your card, then BackerKit will attempt a charge. Separately, BackerKit will try to collect the pledges again on June 10th (Day 7) & 17th (Day 14).
Only Backers with confirmed accounts will be charged after the campaign. If you haven't confirmed your account, please do so asap to be included in the retry charge groups. You can find help here at

Why was my credit card declined? Please
contact the BackerKit Support team and they’ll help you finalize your payment.
If all else fails, your pledge will be imported into the pledge manager with $0 credit, and BackerKit can attempt to collect the funds there so you can still back the project.
Backer Surveys
The Backer Surveys are almost complete and I'm working with BackerKit to finalize the date to send them out. Though I'd like to send them the week of June 18th, with late pledges being accepted until June 30 and shipping planned for early 2025, it may make more sense to send them closer to fulfillment. Please keep an eye out for the next update (in a week) for more info.

I'm ecstatic and so so grateful that I can't fully express it in words. I can't wait to get these majestic boxed sets to your castle door and onto your table!🎁
What Happens Now?
First, I'm going to take a day or two to let this fantastic news sink in and the adrenaline subside!
Over the next two weeks, Backerkit will collect pledges and give people time to update their information, which updates the Pledge Manager, in case there are errors.
During that time I'll be working with BackerKit to set up the pre-order store and prepare Backer Surveys, which will let you finalize your order information for production and shipping.
Once that's done, I'll begin finalizing the component designs for prototyping and pre-production, and continue as laid out in the
estimated timeline.
I'll be sending regular updates to keep you informed of progress as we go.

🎴We Hit Our First Goal! Upgraded Card Stock!🎴
Not only is the core material of the cards important (you don't want to see through it!) but the FEEL of the cards is important too, especially in card games! Heavier card stock makes the cards feel more substantial—it lends more weight to play and in The King's Poisoner, that can only make your game and your story more enduring. This is so exciting!👏
🪙Next Goal—Metal Dealer Button!🪙
Our next goal will transform the large plastic dealer button into a custom engraved metal one fit for royalty! It's a more distinguished way to discern the dealer from the riff-raff of the round and would be a shiny addition to the set 🌟
